Every pregnancy and birth experience is unique. Whether you're preparing for birth, recovering after having your baby, or looking to return to exercise safely, Women's Health Physiotherapy can provide individualised assessment and management tailored to your needs.

Home Visits and Telehealth

We understand that caring for a newborn can make attending appointments challenging during the early postnatal period. To support women during this time, postnatal telehealth and limited home visit appointments may be available where clinically appropriate and are subject to clinician availability and location.

For Telehealth appointments, initial assessments and final reviews are generally completed in person, to ensure a comprehensive assessment and reassessment.

To help you make the most of your appointment, here's what you can expect before your visit.

Once your appointment is confirmed, you'll receive a confirmation email containing:

 

  • A confidential online intake form

  • Information on how to prepare for your appointment

  • Your appointment confirmation

  • Clinic location and parking information (where applicable)

 

Please complete your intake form before your appointment so we can better understand your concerns and make the most of your consultation time.

👜 What to Bring

Please bring the following to your appointment:

  • Your Medicare card  for GP Management Plan (formerly EPC/Chronic Disease Management) 

  • Your private health fund card (if you wish to claim on the day)

  • Any relevant GP referrals, specialist letters, imaging reports or test results

  • Comfortable clothing suitable for assessment and movement

Please note:

  • Private health fund rebates vary depending on your level of cover.

  • Medicare rebates do not cover the full consultation fee.

  • A gap payment may apply for both Medicare and private health fund claims.

📅 Cancellation Policy

  • If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we kindly ask that you provide at least 24 hours' notice.
  • Late cancellations or missed appointments may incur a cancellation fee.
  • We understand that unexpected situations can arise and appreciate as much notice as possible.
