Clinically guided physiotherapy, dedicated to your wellbeing!

At The Core Cliniq, our goal is to empower you through education to make informed choices about your healthcare journey

Our Vision

Our vision is to deliver compassionate, patient-centred physiotherapy that respects the unique journey of every woman.

With over 20 years of experience as a Physiotherapist across hospitals, private practice, and community settings, I’ve developed a deep understanding of the patient experience. My professional interest in women’s health began early in my career. My personal journey into motherhood further deepened this connection and solidified my commitment to supporting women through their pelvic health experiences.

For the past three years, I have focused my practice on Women’s Health, integrating experience from the maternity ward and private practice to provide a supportive, holistic approach to physiotherapy. In my clinical work, I often meet women who believe that certain symptoms are an unavoidable part of pregnancy, postpartum, or ageing. I believe that no woman should have to accept physical discomfort as her ‘new normal’.

My goal is to provide person-centred care and evidence-based guidance to help women navigate their health and wellbeing with confidence.

Reflection of Our Philosophy

Our logo reflects the philosophy and care at The Core Cliniq. A golden hand gently supporting three lotus petals symbolises the female pelvic floor and its vital role in supporting the bladder, uterus, and bowel—representing strength, stability, and the body’s core foundation.

The Golden hand signifies care, trust, and reassurance, while the lotus petals embody resilience, renewal, and the journey many women experience through life’s transitions.

Together, these elements express our commitment to providing compassionate, respectful, and person-centred care for women at every stage of life.

Our Values

At The Core Cliniq, our care is built on a strong foundation of values that guide our approach

What to Expect at Your First Appointment

We understand that your first visit to a pelvic health clinic can feel like a big step. Our goal is to ensure you feel heard, respected, and fully informed throughout your time with us.

1. A Comprehensive Conversation

Every journey begins with your story. We start with a deep dive into your health history, including your bladder, bowel, obstetric, and surgical history. This is a safe, discreet space to discuss your symptoms and how they impact your daily life.

2. A Tailored Physical Assessment

To understand the "bigger picture," we may assess your posture, breathing patterns, and core movement. Depending on your symptoms and comfort level, a pelvic floor assessment (internal examination) may be recommended. This is never mandatory—it is a clinical tool used to gather detailed information about muscle strength, tension, and support.

3. Informed Consent & Comfort

Your autonomy is our priority. Every step of the assessment is explained in detail, and nothing proceeds without your explicit informed consent. You are always in control and can stop or change the direction of the assessment at any time.

4. A Collaborative Plan

Once we have a clear clinical picture, we work together to create a plan that aligns with your lifestyle and goals. You will leave your first session with a clearer understanding of your body and the next steps in your care.
